Yesterday (12 Sept 2009), The finalist of Miss World Malaysia 2009 were invited to a social cum fund-raising event at the stART society in Jalan Gasing, PJ.
stART society is a place were underprivileged children are given the opportunity to learn to express themselves through drawing, drama,singing, dancing and also by playing musical instruments...
The children(aged 17 and below), comes from 6-8 different homes around Klang Valley. They were required to go through auditions earlier this year to be part of the society.

The finalist were invited to meet the kids and also join them in Dancing :-D...some were shy, some were mischevious:-P
This is a conversation between me and one of the kids
Me: So which on do you like best? singing,dancing,acting or drawing?
Kid: Acting!!!
Me: So you want to be a Bollywood actress?:-P (teasing her)
Kid: Nope...I want to be a director!
Me: WOW!!! That's good!!!
Kid:Yes! and I want to go to the University of Berlin.:-D
Me: You mean Berlin in Germany?
Kid: Yes! I have my life all planned out!:-D
Kid: Acting!!!
Me: So you want to be a Bollywood actress?:-P (teasing her)
Kid: Nope...I want to be a director!
Me: WOW!!! That's good!!!
Kid:Yes! and I want to go to the University of Berlin.:-D
Me: You mean Berlin in Germany?
Kid: Yes! I have my life all planned out!:-D
By then, I was already impressed!!!!
Me: WOW!!! Believe in your dreams!!! In life there will be many challenges and there will be many people who will try to bring you down. But always ALWAYS presevere...Dreams do come true:-D
People must realise that TIMES ARE CHANGING!!! 20 A's in SPM does not determined that you will DEFINATELY succeed in life...
