New Zealand: Belgium Bar Food Review (The Post)

I've actually been here a few times already and I ABSOLUTELY love the mussels there :-D

The first time my uncle brought me there I saw this sign at the entrance....

It was so meant to be my dinner :-D

The place is called De Post because it was previously a very old Post Office

It's also one of the 4 franchise of Belgian Beer Cafe

Specials of the day
Upstairs, the ambience is quite romantic and I love the old school feel of the Original Post Office
Diet Coke

Leffe Brune comes in 3 sizes-250ml (NZD$8.50), 330ml (NZD$10.50) & 500ml (NZD$14)...more on the sweet side...but I still don't like beer!

Chai Latte :-D My favourite...

The Hoegaarden here comes in 3 sizes-250ml (NZD$8.50), 330ml (NZD$10.50) & 500ml (NZD$14)...surprisingly, the Hoegaarden craze haven't caught on yet like in Malaysia. But then again, Kiwis have soooo many choices to choose from!

Was recommended the steamed mussels. They have a grilled varity too..

Coconut Cream & Lemon Grass Curry (1 Kilo). Before Discount NZD$23 after discount NZD11.50 :-D

Garlic, Celery & Onion (1 Kilo). Before NZD$23 After discount NZD$11.50
I prefer the Coconut Cream & Lemon Grass Curry version. Definitely will come back for more mussels :-D Their promotion has been ON for every Monday....No idea whether they will stop having promotions :-S

RATINGS
Price: 7/10. Affordable. But only with discount. A bit on the high side without discount
Ambience: 7/10
Service: 6/10
