So this would be my last post on Bali. Viceroy was the second Resort we stayed in Ubud after The Hanging Gardens. Just 15 minutes from the town centre.
We had a buggy that took us to our Villa as the resort is quite big with many villas scattered around
You can request for a Helicopter ride which would cost you around USD 1800. Too bad the service wasn't available when we were there.
The Villas
Once we opened the door. We were mesmerized! A totally different "feel" from our previous accommodation.
Also the heated pool
All I wanted to do was to lie down and relax :-D
The Sunset at the Helipad
Swim time! Just so obsessed with infinity pools
Panaromic View :-)
Love love love the colors behind...Soooo romantic :-)
We had some cocktails at the pool bar while chatting away & watching the sky change color
There's also a DVD room and library here. We borrowed some DVD's here but didn't watch it as we were too tired that night.
Dinner time! Room Service again :-D
Foie Gras again! Yay!
Pork Ribs
Scallops
Lobster bisque
Couldn't remember what was these...pate?
Lemongrass Creme Caramel
Our Bread & Butter
The breakfast the next day was already included in our room charges
There isn't a breakfast buffet spread here. Guest are required to order ala carte. I had my carrot juice + pressed coffee
Tea & watermelon juice
Eggs Benedict
The thing about ordering ala carte is that the breakfast would come freshly cooked and warm
Western breakfast
Rice pudding. This tasted very peculiar in a starchy/coconut-y kind of way
The pancake was yums!
It came with palm sugar syrup, maple syrup & cream
The hotel staff passed me this ointment when I complained and showed him my super gigantic mosquito bites T__T but overall, it was super worth it :-) One of my favorite trips ever!
