INDONESIA BALI TRAVEL 2015: Tanah Lot Temple & Uluwatu Temple + Failed Rock Bar "attempt"

It was Temple day and we planned to visit both Tanah Lot and Uluwatu Temple. Tanah Lot is known as the "cursed" land as the myth has it that a Balinese princess cursed this place after she was rejected by a prince after eloping with him (Men are idiots, be smart girls). Apparently, anyone who visited this place with their "unmarried" significant other would result in a breakup. Well.............I've got my own personal story which I won't share to the public but then again, I have friends who visited this place with their "then" boyfriends and they eventually got married.

I think I believe more in Murphy Law. Anything that is bound to go wrong will go wrong. Things happen for a reason :-) Only time will tell :-)

My legs looked so gloriously long here. LOVE IT!

While we were walking towards the temple, we came across a cafe selling Kopi Luwak or Civet Cat (Weasel) Coffee
Eventhough the Civet Cat here were fluffy and fat, they looked distressed and were constantly walking back and forth.

I saw a Caucasian tourist petting this Civet cat so I decided to pet it too

and this stupid Civet Cat bit me!!!!!!!

When the owner found out he looked at me and said "The Civet Cat is a sensitive creature, If it bites you, then you have SOMETHING..." He refused to tell me what. So I'll assume that I'm a Goddess :-D

I think the temple visits was the main reason I got so tanned during my Bali trip :'(

During the day time the tide is high but in the evenings, when the tide is low, you can walk across to the temple opposite for blessings

While on our way to lunch and Uluwatu temple, we spotted this building with a gigantic plane on top. It used to a skateboard park but now the building is for rent....just in case you are interested :-D

This restaurant was also one of my driver's recommendation

I was so addicted to the milky and frothy glass of Coconut Juice that I had TWO!
Braised Duck

Crispy Duck
I am SO GLAD that I ordered crispy duck here as it was out at Bebek Bengil (Dirty Duck Diner)

Next up was the Uluwatu Temple. There's a lot of monkeys here also, so remember to look after your belongings.

Unlike Tanah Lot temple, you are required (compulsory) to wear a sarong here. But don't worry, they would borrow it to you Free of Charge.

It was super sunny that I could hardly open my eyes

We headed to the famous Ayana Resort to try our luck to get into the Rock Bar though I knew my chances were low as it was about 5pm already. Usually people start lining up under the sun at 2pm onwards.
For your information, they also implemented a new rule. You need to dress smart casual to enter. NO shorts allowed.

Though it's my 2nd attempt. I WILL NOT GIVE UP!!! I'm gonna be freaking kiasu and stay at Ayana Resort itself the next round :-D *Law of Attraction*
